Military Benefits
The School of Graduate Studies provides assistance to active and veteran military personnel to obtain maximum educational benefits for which they are eligible. Our Admissions Advisors work with military personnel on a regular basis and are well-informed regarding the unique situations of our military students. We participate in many military financial aid programs such as the Veterans Program, Military Tuition Assistance and Title IV Federal Aid Programs. All School of Graduate Studies programs are either approved or in the approval process for Veteran's Benefits under the G.I. Bill and Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP). If you are eligible and wish to receive tuition assistance under one of these programs, contact your local VA office or education office to receive an eligibility certificate.
While we prefer that you complete the required coursework for your degree without disruption to maintain the integrity of your cohort and preserve the continuity of the structured curriculum, if you are deployed during the course of your studies, accommodation can likely be made, dependant on your unique circumstances and where you are in relation to the completion of your semester. Because of the online, asynchronous delivery of our curriculum, many of our military students have been able to continue their studies uninterrupted despite the challenges of deployment. Once enrolled in a program, you may always contact your program's Administrative Director to work out a solution to any problem.
Some of our programs also offer graduate-level credit for successful completion of Command and Staff and/or War College courses. For more information please contact the Admissions Office.
